Punto starting Problem (maybe Battery)

People

i have a punto mk2 sporting and i don't drive to work as i can walk as no parking at my work. i use it after work and ive notices that if i don't use it for a day or so it will not always start 1st time but when it does i can drive it to the local shops park up turn off and come backing in 15 mins and it will start 1st time no problem. I was told my car had a new starter motor before i got it about a year ago. i think it might be the battery can someone help me

If the engine turns over it won't be the battery.

Most factors will "drop test" a battery for free.

Any road up, best posted in the Punto Mk2 section.

It does not always turn over first time if leaved for 2 days

If it turns over eventually it'll be the connectors, not the battery.

Undo, clean and silicone grease the battery terminals, earth terminals (especially the one from the gearbox to the inner wing) and the starter motor itself and re-tighten.

My gps never starts first attempt when cold. Theres a thread on it but cant remember where on here. I think quite a few have this issue.
