Punto MK2 radio Re-location

I've recently got hold of an HGT Centre Console and im wanting to relocate my CD-Radio down to where the HGT CD-chager is since i don't have a CD changer and i personally think having the CDplayer looks better at the bottom.

well the reason for this thread isss.
would i need to get any extra wiring extended or would i simply beable to pull it all down behind the dash to reach the bottom port?

I would of thought you will be able to pull it down behind the dash

give it a try just make sure you cable tie the wires to gether then tie some string round the cable ties so you can pull it back up easily if need be

i think that the heater tubing prevents a full din sized hu from fiting down the bottom. Also what will you do with the awkward shape of the cars original hu slot. It is easy to blank the cd changer slot but less so the other way round. Also i think hat if you do blank the top hu slot it will just look like something should be there.
Are you any good with photoshop if so i would do a couple of mock ups first.
