lowered my rears today no problems

when i went to do front, i got the shock off and out but couldnt get the old spring off
i gave up and when i went to put the shock back in, it wouldnt fit, as if the shock was too large
can anyone please help as car is sitting on axle stands right now :(
thanks

Problem is probably because you rised only that side where you got shock of so sway bar is pushing socket down. Rise other side too and it should be much easier to push socket little bit down and put shock back. (if you havent already solved your problem)

Another tip is that you should ALWAYS 'crack' the top shock nut whilst the strut is sill in the car. These nuts/threads are in most cases metric fine and done up quite tightly.

With the strust removed from the car one will have great difficulty applying enough torque to losen the nut unless you crack it on the car first.

Reverse is true a well. Torque the top nut up to the correct value when the stut is back in/on the car.
