Hi ive had this problem for a couple of weeks now. Once when i drove home (18miles) i stoped the car to go to a shop jumped back in and it wouldnt start - engine turnning over but not fireing. left it for 10min then started fine. since then most of the time i stop the car it wont start, untill i leave it. also the engin will cut out at some traffic lights and other times when im doing 70 down the motor-way. If i leave the clutch out i get the injector light coming on, if i push the clutch in the ignition lights come on(as if i have stalled). again i leave it for 20min and it will start fine?? any ideas?
about a year ago i changed the two coils and sparkplugs and leads.
its a punto mk1 1242cc 16 valvesporting year 1997
any help would be appreaciated
PS have taken it to a garage (not fiat) for a diagnostics but no faults were present plus the guy couldnt log onto the ecu properly because it wasent a bosch ecu ahd had to by pass the fiat code??
