General Punto Mileage Records...

Just out of curiosity, what is the highest mileage any mk 1 punto has reached, without an engine swap etc?

Friend has had his at 165,000 with no engine replacement, well various parts were changed but not a whole engine change

damn. mine's only managed 140,150. still, its on course for more...

might be doing as much as 40,000 in it this year (assuming of course the punt lives that long!)

oh, and has anyone else noticed the punt works really well off road?! believe it or not, it does actually take most off road challenges well. What it lacks is long enough suspension travel! Tough as a brick ****house, is my lil' punt! kinda unusual for an italian car don't ya think?!
If i get a new car as a main one, i plan to uprate the suspension in mine, add some off road dirt tyres, then strip out anything non-essential.
Then go rallying. Hell, it does at the mo, i just can't go too quick, as i risk breaking my only transport!

Minter! Its fun going off road, but mine has a bit of difficulty, as it has lower suspension that standard, as its a sporting.

About the milage, mine aint even done 50k yet.
