Styling Punto Lowering

Ello,

I want to lower my Punto Cabrio MK1 but not knowing alot about this would ask all ur advice. The average lowering hight, whats most ppl go for? ive mainly seen lowering for about 30 to 35MM but have found one for 60 MM would that be to much or a nice drop to have ?

Also do ppl mainly change just the springs or do they change the shocks to ? And also are they suitable to fit myself or should i get someone involved?

Go 60mm, there used to be a punto cab round my way that was slammed on 15's i think, and that looked absolutely spanking!

I dont know but i would imagine if you went 60mm you'd have to change shocks, 30-35mm you can get away with just springs

Dropping 60mm you would need to change the shocks as well
With upto 40mm you can get away without changing them
Rears you can change yourself
But the fronts you need spring clamps or get a garage to do it

if your fit your self note the tops of the front shocks, don't get them mixed up or fit back to front, one side has a orange sticker 1 a blue, if you fit the wrong one to the wrong side or fit one back to front your toe will be all out, sounds complicated but its not, just do one side at a time
