Getting myself an 04 reg Punto active sport in black by the weekend, I've got myself a Sony GTX-GT260MP headunit and I'm buying a 10" vibe sub off my mate also. I was thinking, would it be possible to do a nice boot build in a punto, perhaps a 10" sub on either side in enclosures, with an amp either built into the floor or on the back of the seats. I've also got a parcel shelf that came with my old punto with two kicker 6x9s in them, looks a bit **** but sounds good so i might just leave it in along with the two standard speakers, my old ones got the factory bose sub but i doubt i'll bother putting it in seeing as i want two 10" subs on either side lol. What size are standard punto speakers also?

Does anybody have any ideas/advice for me, fabrication shouldn't be an issue, i'm thinking purple suede because i fancy a purple theme with my car (wheels, roof and fogs), sounds cheesy but i'll make it work

Just finished mine. Still a usable boot aswell when i get the sub cover. All in all without speakers this has cost me nearly £100.

That's smart actually. I quite like that

I have ordered Edge Ed206 speakers for the front and Ed204s for the back. I've also ordered an 800w Edge Ed7800 amplifier too. Any recommendations when it comes to wiring the amp/sub in? Any advice for what wiring kits, where/how to mount or how I'm going to get about wiring it together

For better sound quality you will want to amp front and rears aswell. Wiring kit id prefer to buy cable, crimps etc. Seperately. Remember ALL power feeds have to be fused so make sure they get fused. I have AUX battery, so i only have 1 feed cable now which makes it easier.

Up to you how much time effort and money goes into it. It pays off though
