Introduction

Whats up people. My car has been giving me so much problems these last couple of weeks

i am now stuck with whats seems to be my key coding or the key not reading, as the immobilizer icon on the dash is not going off. It goes on and stays on. It only crancks over... Ive disconnected the battery over night and still doing the same. Ive checked all the fuses and relays and they're all good. If anyone has an idea of what could be wrong, i would appreciateit alot

Unfortunately no ones going to be able to diagnose it over the internet without guessing

From what i've seen its usually the black chip falls out of the key(it should be behind the fiat badge). The key transponder ring can go faulty, the wire to it is really thin & can break easily. There is an emergency startup procedure in the manual if you have the keycode card with the four digit number on it.
