Technical Punto gt3 wont start

hi last night i was driving and my car started spluttering when boosting this morning i went out to see what the problem was but it wouldnt start at all

i have checked all the boost pipes all seams fine there
i just want a list of ideas or what to check next as car is needed for work tomorrow

it will fire up but then it just cuts out if i rev it it will pop through the air filter

then when i let off the revs it will cut out
anyone got any ideas ??

If it try to start and pretty much dies

Check there is a Clear intake and exit
If they seem clear

and the igniton is okay and the fuel is been delivered

It' can only point to slipped timing
Lets hope it hasn't made contact

massive air leak on the inlet side?
have you checked the manifold and around it?
saw one with a hole in the other week because the car had backfired and burnt a hole in the plastic

how would i check fuel ?

i thought that it wouldnt be fuel as it will run if i rev it
but as soon as i let off it cuts out

does anyone know if the ICV can cause this to happen ??

Check the timing. Check the inlet mani.

It's unlikely to be down to fuel or the boost.

Backfiring through the inlet is a sign that something bad has happened or is about to happen.

dont say that i need the car for work does anyone want to come and take a look and see what they think ?
