Where did you buy it from? ebay? I would be concerned on why he was only running it at 10 psi. You got an aftermarket boost gauge? Did you test drive it when it was running higher boost?

im guessing you got this one fairly cheap?
sometimes a cheap motor costs more in the end. oil pressure is the 1st one to check into

hi guys im new to this so need as much help as possible!!!!I have a punto gt 1995 gt1 its been lovely until now it has high oil pressure is this bad???it usually goes up to 3 bar at start up then once warmed it goes down to half way then when driving bk to 3 but never goes over!now it goes up to 3 wen started then drops to a quarter the about a bar over when driving it quiker than normal lets say 70 mph is this some thing to worry about??iv replaced the oil nd filter cleaned all the breather out but no change I even turnt it over with no oil in nd it sat on 0 so im sure the gauge works any ideas???need help ASAP pleeeease
