Talking of puntos, i asked for details on the punto at Stanford Hall, then fiat consistantly rang me up, like allll the time! then i said, "can i test drive a punto sporting?" and they havn't got back to me> its been two weeks [V]

u just need to get dressed up, walk in there as if u are made of money, blag you way to the car u fancy, go on about what cars u had in the past (make that bit up! can b fun hehe) an if u pull it off an seem genuinly interested u can walk out with nearly anythin, my mate got a TVR tuscan on a 24 hour test drive for our college ball a couple of years ago. was awesome.

The old trick we used to use was to play one off against another. Go and ask for a test drive in a lowly cheap hatch for instance but insist on wanting to have it for half a day etc When you have it, drive to the next town and into a more upmarket dealership and say this is my current car and I am looking to upgrade already... and insist on the half day etc.

Carry this on for a couple of weeks and you could end up with a Porsche / Ferrari etc for a weekend.
