punto 75 unknown part (pic inside)

This was hanging in the engine bay and i'm not sure of it's purpose but i suspect that it's the map sensor. Anyone sure

the part with which you are troubled is indeedy the map. i had a look on my mateas and its the same but ur pipe end is snapped off

i have a 75 map will donate it for postage cost.
i also have a question, will a 75 engine with a 999cc head and the 75 cam fit a 4x4 panda?

I know the pipe end is snapped off, if you saw the car i got the engine from you wouldn't believe how the engine survived .


I may be interested in the Map sensor dave . I'm still sorting out the ECU from mad4it though , postage doesn't seem to get there (public workers love to strike when their benefits are taken away )

Yes the 75 engine should fit the 4X4 but i would use a 1.1/1.2 SPI head intead since they have bigger valves then the 999cc

but then i have no where for the fuel pump to go

errrr no, thats the valve that fits onto the charcoal filter located just behind the o/s headlight on top of the big black tank with blue pipes going to it.

I think it was a blue pipe going to it but the rest i have no clue about

As you can see i'm lucky enough the engine is intact (girl with very heavy foot )

So now do you guys see why i need to know where thing may be located, the car was crashed alone off a bridge with 2 rolls on the ground, not bad if you think about it since the bridge was 3meters high and is right after a turn, the car was going over 60 miles an hour and oversteered off .

its under a plastic cover on the bulkhead 2 screws to remove the cover, there will be some fuses under there aswell

The accident happened at 3am and she was driving again by 7am to go to work, not a scratch. It was caused by a drunk taking a turn on the outside and she was overspeeding so lost control, flipped the car a few times and dropped into a ditch aroun 3meters deep , i said luck over a million times that night (i was not in the car)
