punto 75 block.

Hello there, Can anyone please tell me if the punto 1242 block is different in anyway from the punto 60 1242, Also is there any gearbox that will convert a punto 60 engine to rear wheel drive. any advice would be greatly apreciated.

the punto 75 block is better internally but are 100% interchangable between the 60. but the head is not. (75 is mpi and 60 is spi so you need to put your 60 head on the 75 block)


if you want a rear wheel drive car then buy one

hi,you cant change from front wheel drive,its impossible on a front wheel drive set up,if you really want rear wheel drive buy a BMW,they all have it.
your engine and gear box are mounted laterally,wrong direction for rear wheel drive.BMW are better cars anyway:devil:

THanks you guys, ive built a lot of motors and converted my cinq to p75 ecu n all. anyways i just wondered if a gearbox was available as i wanted to fit my 90bhp recently built punto 60mpi into a Morris Minor lol.I might fit it transvers. Mmmm. Again many thanks. Why on earth would a car enthusiast want a BMW my Mondeo ST200 seems to chug along just fine when in familly man mode.
