General Punto 1.2, your opinions please...

Just bought a Punto 1.2 51 plate(2002)

75,000 miles for £1,100.

Nice little driver so far was just wondering from people in the know of their opinions on this particular model, and whetherr it is worth keeping or selling on for a profit if any or even use as trade in for a new car?

My second Fiat after my hand me down Brava 1.4 from my mum decided to die with a leak from the cylinder head!

Also gonna be my first year of driving since passing my test so got to worry about insurance etc...

Your thoughts please gentlemen.

Run it for a year or two, build up no claims.

good cars, quicker than corsa 1.2, and most other 1.2 cars out there

Faster than other cars for first year drivers on their own insurance, nice runners (usually) and reasonably cheap to insure if you look carefully, what level of cover you looking at, tpft or fully comp, mine is fully comp from LV, good deal better than some of the quotes i got for my 03" punto
