Punto (Mk2/2b) Punto 1.2 y reg key trouble!

Hi

Hope you can help. I've got a fiat punto y reg 1.2 3dr. I have one key for the ignition and one key for the doors. How do I get a new key that does both the ignition and the locks? How much would it be etc and where could I get it done?

Hi Nicole, welcome to FF

You'll have to get a complete new lock set for the car, unlikely to be cheap. I addition to this you'll then need to obtain the cars immobiliser code and have Fiat programme the new keys for the immobiliser to deactive when the key it turned in the ignition to enable the engine to start.
