Hello, Everyone,

I have this issue with a new key that i've purchased (previous one was lost) that i wont be programmed at all. I'm going through the steps to enter my 2006 Sedici into programming mode (and it does every time) but when i press the unlock button on the key, nothing happens. The car doesnt confirm that the programming succeded. Its a keyless version and the replacement key is a second hand from suzuki sx4 (which shouldnt be an issue from what i've read and heard as long as its cleaned). I've tried this procedure outside of any big city but still it doesnt work. The key is sending signal as it was tested in the shop from where i bought it.
Any help or advise would be much appreciated!!

I was told that these keys (EU version) cannot be programmed. Perhaps it's because of the microchip embedded between the halves and again inside a second plastic sleeve for this version. It could be that the instructions refer to the non UK/EU version. The key is an issue across the line from the outset. One member successfully removed the small vial from the original key and placed it inside the new one with success. Otherwise, the car will immobilize.

Go back to shop you bought it from and get them to program it to your car and prove it works.
Though being fron a Suzuki the shop may say it's not possible
