Hi

I have a problem with returning faults in instrument cluster in my Stilo 1.9 mJTD. Faults:

1. B1002
2. B1003
3. B1005
4. B100C
5. B100E

All this faults return after few days (after clean faults). Description of all this faults is "lack of signal" or "low signal". Sometimes after turn off the engine, the display of the instrument cluster blinking with "CHECKING", sometimes i see information "Airbag fault" - see the video:

Despite faults instrument cluster works fine without any issues while driving. Is this a problem with instrument cluster, Body Computer, bad ground or something? Thanks for any help.

If you have a new battery you can try, then that might be a good place to start.

While you have the battery out, remove the connections to earth (I think the one by the battery runs under the battery box) and clean it up where it contacts the inner wing. Then refit it and put some grease on it to stop it corroding again.

Battery is almost new. This is a two years old battery Westa Forse 74Ah 720A from Ukraine. Voltage is good, about 12,55V.

Ground lead on the negative pin of the battery is mounted firmly. I cleaned the fuse box (which was quite clean) and problem still appears. When it warms up i will try do something with the "earth" under the baterry box. But there is a one interesting thing. Faults appears only in the wintertime. While summertime I don't have this problems.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? i am having the same problem. I only have this problem in winter or rainy cold weather when the car is closed. This problem does not occur in hot weather. I couldn't find the solution :(
