Problem with indicators

Having an intermittent issue with my indicators , sometimes they don't work and i have noticed that at the same time the hazard light switch also won't work but when using the alarm that will flash the indicators . Mostly seems to occur at night when the headlights are on , does this sound like the stalk switch unit and if so is possible to spray out the switches in it with contact cleaner or is something else .

Sorry to say that most of these "Odd" light problems are fixed by getting new stalks iirc.

Check the relay, but as Ozric said, its the stalk Im afraid

Thanx for that , i'll start looking for one . Is it much of a job to change ( looks a bit of a pig in the haynes ! )

Stalks I'd say. If I get in a strop and thump the steering wheel hard enough in mine, the indicators dont work for a while.

Quickly worked out that being in a rage was not a wise move
