General Problem with Heater Control Panel

Hey guys, got a slight problem with the lights that make the icons on the heater/blower controls glow.

With the lights selected off, and i turn the ignition, they come on ... but only one half of the panel lights up.

Ive tried giving it a knock which got both sides of the panel lit up but its gone back to only one half lights up.

Its pretty weird because all the knobs for the heater/blower/air director still work normally, just the lights behind it that are playing up.

Any suggestions on what I could try ??

If one of the bulbs has blown ... will this cause the remaining good bulb to light up even when the lights are selected off ???

No. They're always lit

DONT hit it too hard, or you'll do what i did, and push the dial into the actual panel. It took me ages to figure out exactly how to strip enough of the dash to get to the panel to change it, all done now though

does anyone know what bulbs these take? i dont want to take it apart twice lol
