Technical Problem with going into gear

Hello everyone!
Again problem with my dad's car, it won't go into gear. Car is Stilo 2003. JTD 1.9. Could it be that the clutch is missing some oil so when you press the clutch it isn't fully open so you can't switch into gear?
Or what else could it be?

If the clutch pedal goes down easier than it did before, then it could need bleeding.

Otherwise it could be that the cables need adjusting or there is a problem with the selector mechanism inside the gearbox.
