Hi everyone,
I’m having performance issues with my Ducato 2.3L 150 HP. The van has 45,000 km on the clock. I bought it with 8,000 km and have owned it for 3 years.
Since the beginning, I’ve felt that while driving at a constant speed, the engine occasionally loses and regains power (surging) on its own. It has improved over time, but it’s still noticeable. Recently, I replaced the MAP sensor. Surprisingly, the power surging decreased, but the engine's responsiveness at low throttle also dropped. I have never had any fault codes (DTCs).
I’ve started analyzing engine parameters via MultiEcuscan (MES). I noticed that when the engine is cold, the LP-EGR (Low Pressure EGR) remains open while driving. I’m not sure if this is normal, but after a few minutes of driving, it starts working within its expected range.
I know there are many experts here, and I would really appreciate your help. I’m attaching the log file from my recent short test drive."
