i have fiat marea for some time
and there is a problem
when i start it, everything is ok
but speedometer, temperature, fuel, rpm, drops to zero after few seconds of engine working
odometer is working fine.
then if i turn it down and restart again, everything works for few seconds and than again......zero
today i noticed something else. dash board starts to act crazy
up, down, light on odometer turnig off and on......

what to do? any

i've been having the same dashboard symptoms too..............i've traced mine to a dry solder joint on the dash pcb(printed circuit board).........(n) trip to the scrapyard next week

so is it imposible to repair without changing complete dashboard
can you explain litle bit better how you traced that
thanks

if its an obvious dry joint on one of the regulators then grab a soldering iron and some solder and resolder it, or take it to a TV/electronics repair place and get them to do it.. simple fix.

stylers.

i removed the instruments and then started the car......with the panel still connected, i then fiddled with the soldered bits on the back and the gauges started working intermitantly........possible to fix but quicker for me to get one from the scrappy;)
