Are you trying to use the bolts from steel wheels on the alloys?

the std steel wheels use 17mm studs, but alloys use 19mm studs.

They are bolts, not studs :) Studs stick out of the hub, bolts bolt into the hub.

The steel wheel bolts have a different shoulder and will wreck alloy wheels if you try to use them.

hia me again, thankx . I will take them to National Tyres to get some alloy wheels bolts put on them.

question

question

are they hgt alloy's, i've got a 1.8hlx 98s mk1 with same style alloy's (bar the abarth badge)

just wondering if hgt and hlx alloys where the same for mk1 bravo's thats all

Re: question

theyre definately HLX alloys and not HGT Alloys

Re: hmmmmmm

I was under the impression that HGT and HLX alloys on the MK1 were the same.

On MK2 they are different.

Re: hmmmmmm

HLX and HGT MK1 alloys are diffent, only a slight difference on HGT each spoke it buldges out alittle near the rim.

On MK2 the alloys are completely different, HLX are solid spokes of five(i think they're five spoke), but MK2 HGT are four spoke and for each spoke they split and rejoin again near the rim, prob the best Bravo alloy they made.

Re: hmmmmmm

nope, mk2 klx alloys anyday for me ;)
(even if people think they look like flowers :) )

Re: hmmmmmm

They look like Pansies Dan.

How appropriate. ;) LOL!

Sorry

Yeah i mention that they were HGT alloys but they are HLX alloys. They should still fit on my Fiat Bravo 1.2 SX 1999 shouldn't they? Ive ordered some longer bolts from Fiat today which should come tommrow , but i think they over charged me a bit. £20.30 some one told me that they should only be around £15-00 .

Re: Sorry

yeah - they will fit your car with the new bolts they'll be fine!

Re: Sorry

A car needs 16 wheel bolts, at £1.50 each thats £24 :)

£20 is good for a set of wheel bolts.

Suppose so

Yeah £20 is cheap for the bolts with next day order, does any one no where i can get some gud locking wheels nuts from?

Re: Suppose so

I recently bought some wheels bolts from a fiat dealer and paid £0.76 + VAT each.

Re: Suppose so

Get the locking nuts from fiat aswell ;)
