hi how does work

i though plates had to go y the legal rule

which was either prexfix
1 letter, numbers then 3 letters

or current stlyes
2 letter, numbers then 3 letters.


so how is it see plates such as bob or tom xlearly illegal and where do tey buy them from?>

yes but prefix by law ive seen plates that are not following law rules but are didpalyed as just a name but still legal.

It is illegal to spce a numberplate incorrectly i.e:
M4RK T to make Mark T
That plate would only be legal if formatted so:
M4 RKT

It is also illegal to put black-headed bolts in the centre of a zero to make a B.
