Too late 
already got the plate.... I'm not too bothered about my first years NCB atm (obviously i dont want to crash or anything) but i passed my pass plus the other week and got £498! back from my insurance, so my second year insurance wont go down much now as the pass plus is pretty much like having one years ncb on your insurance (so said the insurance company)..... Although getting the tyres will definately b my next buy, as you say, it does buy me a few good feet of clearance which is needed! Thanks for the advice anyway,
