General Praise for the Multi in this weather...

Loadsa snow here in West Kent.

Can't use the auto Alfa 166, fat tyres & it's scary.

Can't use the Alfa Spider 'cos it's too fragile.

Other cars off the road for winter.

Soooo,

It's down to the Multi to get me to work.

New P6s (P6000s seem to have been discontinued) dig in well.

Lovely heater, great demisting (compared to the Alfas).

NOT using the handbrake!

I have winter tyres on mine, it's been ok this winter so far.

They have good torque ratios I live at the bottom of a hill in Essex with snow it flys up it

Going to attach a snow plough for the return journey in the morning though!!

I had a terrifying drive along the A50 to Derby on Friday. The front end was wiggling all over the place and I was getting wheelspin in 3rd at 30mph. Ended up slowing right down and tucking in behind an old dear who was also scared! Maybe it's the "mid-range" tyres I have..."Goodride" they are called. Yeah! I can only think the treads were blinding with snow. Everyone else was steaming past me!

Don't think it matters too much what tyres you have (unless they're studded), once they're clogged with Snow they're all pretty-much equal.

All tyres r the same and do the same thing unless u have summer tyres that's when it gets abit awkward .. Been all over Essex all weekend picking parts up from eBay and multipla flopped once on a patch of ice on the m11 apart from that snow filled roads its brilliant ( hand break works well )

I was travelling smugly with a set of snowchains (from that fine retailler Lidl - £20) in the boot.

Opened the boot to look for them, seems that I left them in the garage - further digging ensued...
