Practical Performance Car track day

from the guys who brought us the £999 challenge, PPC are offering a trackday at what is said to be one of the nicest circuits around, Oulton Park.

details are in this months magazine, but the basics are:

£99, 2 sessions, experienced and novices
free second driver
free passengers
free t-shirt
garages for you to spanner in £20
kit car blast around the circuit
FREE ENTRY FOR SPECTATORS!!!!

gates open at 7am, driver and passenger briefing at 7.30am, 20 minute sessions alternating between novices and experienced, hours break for lunch, then on till dusk:slayer: rob and i have got a garage, so somewhere warm and dry to hang out between sessions, no doubt will be a bit parky out! there should be power sockets, so there will be tea and coffee on the go, by all means bring nibbles

but the main event, the headline act, the one you've all been waiting for:

that's right: Uno Turbo i.e. vs. Tipo Sedicivalvole

the hooligan against the sledgehammer, the battle of the icons, light car/heavy driver, heavy car/light driver, tishhhh vs brrrum​

as well as the reader cars, the editorial team is bringing:

a 27L rover:

a v8 capri:

plus any other staff cars they can get to work on the day!

there's no further on times etc, i presume that will as before, come nearer the day.

yeah i have been thinking about it, only discovered this thread last night Not sure though to be honest, i sold my track wheels/tyres after i had Rose as thought i wouldnt get the chance for track time again, and dont really want to ruin the decent tyres i got atm coz then i would have to buy more!
