my garage has just told me that 1 of 2 pipes behind the radiator running from left to right is leaking he recons that they have been chaffing together causing a break.

is this going to be a costly repair?

will i have to buy from a main dealer?

whats the chance do you think of me getting a second hand pipe from a scrappy

and do you know of a marea 110sx jtd being scrapped?

and how easy/hard is it to get the front bumper off as he recons it'll have to be removed to get access to the pipe?

cheers lads andy..

The only info I can give you is the bumper is quite easy to get off, you can see the bolts (torx) along the front then you need to take the wheel arch liners off and in there fixing the bumper to the wing is another couple of bolts, then theres another two or three holding it onto the undertray. The pipes might be the same on all models or at least more than just the 110JTD.

cheers m8 i can tell my garage now that it's not too much work so not too much of a bill either lol..

still need to find out about the pipes tho ..thanks andy ..

I had a power steering leak on my bravo, the return pipe underneath had corroded and needed replacing. The pipe was going to cost somewhere in the region of £180 trade. so the garage i use cut out the old section of pipe and replaced it with 2 pieces of braided hose + 2 jubilee clips.
cost me £40 all in for the fix.

Hope that helps mate

I did exactly the same as a temporary fix on my son's Bravo, then got a 10mm plumbing compression fitting which should be permanent(y)
