OEM ?
surely more air carnt make you lose power can it?
is it worth getting a bigger throttle body along with the induction and remmap?
if so which one
many thanks
ricky

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer ie standard

yes you can ultimately end up with less power as you can loose torque, more specifically you can loose torque lower down the rev range meaning the car can be slower in the real world

Closed loop fuelling means that the ECU will try to maintain the AFR at the target value but if your injectors don't flow properly then you won't see any benefts

oooh yes too much air makes the mixture lean.. there is something called the stoichiometric ratio this says that an engine runs best with a ratio of 14.7 parts of air to one part of fuel.. in mass not volume. go either way too far on the ratio and you ruin the power

The stoichiometric ratio is not for best power it's for best emissions and adding an induction kit should not see your engine run lean...it's the placement of the filter and how hot it gets is what kills any potential gains to be had.
