I would like to publicly thank Dragon Man for fitting a disco dash to Po on Friday. It looks fantastic and its nice to be able to see what switch I'm operating.
While I was there the speedo cable gave way and this was changed in less than 10 mins, in the dark and rain, John you are a hero.
I think that we have ironed out a few of the manufacturing problems so that next time it won't take over 12 hours to do  (many thanks to Johns mum for the food  )

Once again thanks John, its worth every penny of the donation I made to the Talon/Fallout fund.

This is one upgrade every classic panda should have.

I've been asking John about doing this since Panda Camp 2013 & also trying to persuade him there is a demand for it (Kevin wanted him to do Apple too)! How come he did yours?

I didn't want a disco, but did want everything red - the Coupe is just such a nice place with red lighting.

So come on John, I said I could help with pricing etc if you were struggling. Get a price list sorted & start earning some money using your electronic skills. (y)

I put a proposal to him just before Xmas and suggested a price which he agreed to. I will not say publicly how much I paid as John will need to set his prices at a level that will reward him sufficiently.

Needless to say I am happy to promote his services.

I'd love to see some photos of the "disco dash" in action
If you have any yet? Bet it's amazing!

Yeah.. I'll start making the bits needed to make disco dashes. the bit that takes the longest is the switches. 5 leds each led has 4 legs, one with a resistor, and lots of soldering and avoiding original plugs and connectors..

I'll try and build up all the bits I'll need to make fitting the disco dash a bit more quickly lol

OK heres some pictures, It should be noted that the Red is possibly the best for night time as it gives a nice glow, but it doesn't show well in daylight.

the red is awesome.. its like being in some kind of jet fighter.

i do like green though so i have mine set to green on the lowest brightness.
it kinda matches the original lighting, only you have way better lighting behind all of the switches. (before one bulb did the whole switch lighting)

if you have some spare switches, the front bit of the dash and clock.. send me them and ill add the lighting for you. as for the speedo and dials i could make it so its in "kit" forum...

it would e more easy if you just took the trip to come and see me so i can do all the fitting. not only that but i will also give you the "panda check".. where i do my one downfall called fault finding.. sadly i cant help it.. i do however try to fix it for you though hehe.

i really have to start building these kits up...
