popping noise from under car when over bumps

Whenever we seem to turn left sharply there is a fairly audibly 'clunk' coming from the level of the axle. We recently had the CV joint replaced. sounds aas though it is wheel related. Car is a 1.4 1997 brava with 100k.

Any ideas??

Couldn't be a clunky bumpy sound like the shocks knocking ? are the seat brackets taped up in rear, check bravo guide that sounds like a banging noise turning and hitting little bumps.
