Just fitted a BMC CDA to my abarth last weekend. Took her for a spin, sounded great, all was fine. Decided to take a spin on some dual carraigeways to open the car up a bit, got the car upto about 5k in second, went to change to third. BEEP BEEP, engine fault.
Car wont change above second in manual or auto and seems to be in limp home mode. Checked all the connections that I touched, MAF is in right way, wasnt touched really and the lambda one near to it. Cleaned both with contact cleaner just in case.
I connected my ELM up to read the error codes, and came up with the following. Problem is they never clear so the fault is still there. I cant remember which ones are stored or pending.
P0100 - Mass or Volume Air flow Circuit Malfunction
P1654 - ?
P1653 - ?
P0443 - Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit
P0135 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Im going to jack the car up again and re-check everything. Does anyone have any idea of where I can start or come accross this before.
Any help would be great
Cheers
Dan
