Technical Poor Lights

I have a problem with both low beam and High beam headlights on my 2005 Scudo 2 litre diesel.
I have cleaned the lenses and polished and coated them with a lense sealer..
Both appear clear but the light intensity is very poor.
I don't want to just put higher Watt bulbs as I suspect I may blow some fuses .
Any ideas out there to fix this

Have you tried adjusting the height of the headlamp?

What rating bulbs are in ?

Its possible they are the originals.. and past their best

Alternate fix... I went back and re polished the lens covers with 3000 grit wet and dry . This made the lights look like new and it did help but the best night time driving investment I made was a Light bar. Turns night into day. Recommend this to anyone who drives at night outside of " built up" areas.
