well as the weather is nice and hot thought let me go out for a nice ride.. so did cold start was fine.. warmed up.. it was at half temp on the dash... the car keept on cutting out... everytime i drive it keep cutting out only happens when its warm.. when its cold its fine!... but now when it is warm the cars power is just gone!! no power really... the car also starts shaking and judders, misfires no lights are on the dash... also when i rev to about 4000 revs onwards the car sounds rattley.. what can it be! even the mechanic cant find out the problem! and i cant drive the car properly!.. changed everything! full service done 3 months ago... cambelts and other belts changed 5 months ago.. coilpack changed,ht leads changed oil changed everything is changed really! cant find out what it can be! need help! thanks guys!

Hiya, I've had a similar problem on my HGT back in July last year & I finally got to the bottom of it. I too had changed plugs, coil packs, fuel filter & had fuel pump checked as well, but still missfired & kept losing power. But I changed the lambda sensor on the exhaust & changed my (MAF) Air flow sensor after the airbox & my baby works perfect now. It has been a joy to drive since. So check your 2 sensors, failing that, get a diagnostic test on the engine. Should read out fault codes directing you to the problem. Phil.

ahh!! guess what now! the car wont even start! it turns over but i have to keep on reving it for it to start and when i let go of the gas the car switches off! ahhh!! now what??? well iv changed that sensor last years so cant be a fault on that again can it? and plus had the m.o.t done 2 months ago that went thru ok.
