Hi Guys.
I can get a set of merea polys for £25!!! Thats great but one of them has chipped glass. Any chance i can just swap the glass off the standard Brava one to the poly?

If they are brand new take it back for replacement, however at £25 i doubt they are. If they are used then no you can't use Bravo standard lenses as they are refractor lenses and not clear like the marea polys unless you've bought the wrong marea lights and they look the same as the Bravo ones, which aint poly elliptical.

I have a Brand New Set of Marea Polys going cheap in the classifieds.

Are you sure they are polys? Ive seen the base model marea lights at 25 a pair.

Ive read about people heating the polys in the oven to soften the glue then pulling the glass off. To get new glass you would probably have to buy another light from a scrap yard or new anyway.

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but I've only just bought my Bravo!

What is the difference between the standard Bravo light and a Poly?

Can anyone post a pic of both types to compare?

Hi

This is the headlight that all Bravos and base model Marea's come with from the factory.

This is the Poly Elliptical Headlight fitted to the higher spec ELX and HLX Marea's

They look nice and they light the road much better.

To fit them though you need to modify things. See these two guides for options.
