Goudrons Patron member Parked in the garage Joined May 10, 2010 Messages 2,669 Points 799 Jun 21, 2018 #2 P0351 is Ignition Coil A, Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction. That would cause P0301 - Cylinder #1 Misfire if that coil is playing up. I believe each cylinder has it's own "pencil" coil on top of each plug, "A" is number 1 cylinder. (P0301 is misfire on number 1 cylinder). You could try clearing the codes, then swapping cylinder 1's coil over with another and see if the issue moves with that particular coil. If it does and you get a new set of codes relating to the cylinder you moved the coil too, then it's that individual coil that fubar. If it doesn't move, you've likely a wiring issue to number 1 coil. Last edited: Jun 21, 2018
