Please help! I have a 2009 500 abarth and the clutch master cylinder has failed. Apparently it was a common problem and fiat replaced the original cheap plastic one with a different cylinder. My garage has told me that the replacement cylinder won't fit (which I find hard to believe - they haven't checked, they are assuming - I am based in Palma de Mallorca and good garages are hard to find). They can't source the original cylinder because it was discontinued. Can anyone please advise - I can't find anything relating to it on the Internet. Thank you.

I don't know about your model but is it possible it physically fits the car but needs a different /modified pipe, as I know that can be the case were Concentric clutch slave cylinders are involved.
Hopefully that doesn't mean changing the slave cylinder inside the bellhousing of gearbox as well !!!
