What exactly am I meant to be hovering over? All I get is the usual address, either https://www.fiatforum.com/private.php? when hovering over 'Private Messages' on the main page or the PM ID when in my inbox

Yes you can now hover over the title of the message in your inbox, and the message will pop up!

Hovering over the title of a message (read or unread) gives me the PM ID #

I hover over a message, and I get a little pop-up, telling me the first few lines of the PM.

EDIT - similar to when you hover over a thread title....

are you using IE, Firefox or Opera?

I'm using Opera. I did used to get preview tooltips of topics but this version seems to have killed that - I assumed it was the update of the forum.
