Needing some new plugs but im just wondering if its worth paying the extra momey for some decent ones. Splitfire or something along those lines.

Any one that knows out about the subject???

i bought a set of Bosch Super 4's and Bosch HT leads..tbh, it's not made the blindest bit of difference..

i believe Denso Iridium plugs and Mangnecor leads are quite good tho..

There is only one spark per plug, so those "quatro-spark-plugs" from Bosch won´t do any difference. Current jumps the shortest way. I changed from NGK/NKG to Bosch Super Plus something. Didn´t make any difference either. Whenever something says super / duper / extra / plus / maxi etc. it doesn´t mean a thing except it sounds very good and you can brag about it. :)

Look at your plugs. If they are rounded at the tip, they are a bit worn. If they are brownish (powder burnt onto the metal tip) your fuel/air mixture is right and your timing is about normal. Use a bit of superfine sandpaper to remove the brown layer. Insert plugs again. Tamtamtaaa - as good as new plugs, money saved.

Morten.
