Just booked snoopy de bravo in for its service. Normally on previous cars I tended to do the servicing myself however I've decided with this car to get it done properly by a dealership so phoned Grays of Warwick up. They do a three tier service menu - gold, silver and bronze. Given that the mileage is only 15,000 miles and it had not only a service at 7,500 miles but an oil change at 11,000 miles the gold service wasn't needed. The silver service included an air filter and the bronze was the usual oil and filter change with a full check of brakes, lights and and fluids. So I asked about the spark plugs as they weren't really mentioned and he reckoned on multiair engines they needed to be replaced every two-three years. Is this right? I'm not sure how long plugs last these days but I thought 24-30,000 was usually the life span of plugs. I also get the impression there not cheap! Can anyone clarify?
