Technical Plugs and Leads

Ok, before my i discover my headgasket was gone I thought/been told that my spark plugs might be playing up and to check them. I was going to renew them after xmas as i don't know when they were last done as i have only had the car for 6months.

I was wondering has anyone good any recommendations on Plugs and Lead. I know champion ones are recommended in the Haynes Manual, but i was wondering has anyone used/got any others.

never use champion ones they crap. ive had brand new ones before that cut out at 3000 revs so they apear ok when you test them but are still dead, use NGK or Bosh, standard are ok you dont need them super ones.

im looking to get new plugs and leads to, would magnecor/splitfire for leads and denso for plugs be alright? and what code are the plugs for the sei sporting? cheers

the code will be in the book at the shop that sells them, haynes only gives the champion codes because they pay them to
