Hi Everyone.

I posted a thread the other day about an rpm signal fault on a doblo cargo, it gets a signal for the first few seconds then goes-hence non start.

it has a new ecu/rpm sensor/wiring ok.
I was wondering if there could be a fault with the crank ???

Also i wondered if anyone has pin data on this ecu/
I want to know what wire is the signal & what one is the 5v feed ?? to the rpm sensor.

One more thing - do they have a cam sensor, cant seem to see one.

I hope someone can help PLEASE. This ar is doing my head in.:bang:

Almost sure its (cam angle sensor) behind timing cover.camshaft pulley (timing belt off job) ... can you see any wires going to this area? Think there is a multiplug at top back left of engine...if so it will be a 3 wire.

(some list it on top of engine [between injector 1 & 2] depending on year etc)

Have you had the errors in the ECU read yet? Rotor position sensor fault?

I will have a look tommorow, i am wondering if the cam sensor has gone down & causing a false fault code.

Thanks.

Normally this bring up following error...'inchoerence between engine & vehicle speed',normally this is timing sensor fault.Has it had belt change recently?

really need more info on what happened etc

Fault codes on snap on scanner po130 & po132 both are rpm sinal fault
New rpm sensor fitted/new ecu & wiring ok from ecu to sensor.

The rpm signal is erratic, has gone up 1800rpm on cranking , i took out sensor again today to see if i could see any obvious fault with crank. Looks ok from what i could see.

I have changed the belt as it has also had a new injector pump, as the rotor position sensor went down, so they say.

Ahh so its had a new pump, rotor sensors are not uncommon. Was it new or re-con pump?

Did you see sensor behind camshaft pulley? wires should go along the top back of timing cover to 3pin plug.(5v - earth - signal)

It was a re-con pump- i will check cam sensor tommorow/could my suspicions be right about cmp sensor ???

Yes i'd scope timing signal next on that 3 wire connector......but I would also be wary of that recon pump aswell, definately no rotor check code?.....happened to me 2 times before after fitting recon pumps.

No codes for rotor, it must be right, if i unplug pump then i do get that code.
I will check the cmp tommorow,
Thanks for you're help, I will let you know how i get on tommorow eve, unless it drives me to drink.
Regards. Barry
