Hi. After some tinkering today with my remote central locking kit. I have managed (using 2 relays) to have it so that when I press my lock or unlock, my hazard warning lights - this was my first *technical* go at electronics so I'm pretty chuffed with myself however, once I press the lock or unlock, due to nature of the central locking kit, it locks/unlocks in about half a second so therefore my HWL (hazard warning lights) only come on the same duration, they barely light up due to the lack of time to lock and unlock.
Is there some device I can use that makes the flash go on for longer?
Or could I somehow link this wire up to the HWL relay so it goes on for as long as the usual single "click" of the HWL's if that makes sense?

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks a lot.
Dan

It's a bit pricy for what I'm wanting!
I think a capacitor holds the energy then releases it after a certain amount of energy? (thats just an educated guess that I can remember from electronics at school)
I don't know! I need an electrician! :D

Edit: Infact, don't capacitors work the other way? the bulbs will actually dim as the capacitor fills up
