OK, I know I should do the reading, but the Blue&Me manual looks really daunting! Anyway, I read somewhere we can use the usb port in our cars to play mp3s from usb sticks. Is this correct? If so, do I have to read and figure out blue&me or can I just plug in a ready made usb stick and off I go? :p

i just chucked some songs on my usb stick and works fine. so i believe u can just plug in and off you go(y)

On the whole b&m is pretty slick but its not as straightforward as it could be. Best read the manual and some of the forum posts in b&m section if your stuck. Apple users struggle most, copy songs in mp3 format alto a stick and it works

You need to convert your iTunes MP4 songs to MP3 in iTunes and then you need to copy onto your USB stick. If you want to do a playlist you then need to follow the instructions in the B&M manual - it is really easy to follow and I've made lots of playlists on my USB stick.

Just stay clear of mp4 files (bought thru itunes they won't play)
Although saying that, my car does play (as confirmed in the manual), the aac files that iTunes converted my whole CD collection into when I ripped it.

I believe it's just the protected ones you need to avoid.

And use the BluMeUSB optimizer if you encounter any problems like MP3s not playing or playing too loud.
