Technical Play in throttle pedal.

I am able to lift up my throttle pedal up by about 10mm, would this be the actual pedal, if it is where do i tighten it up? or the throttle cable?

Throttle cable fella, but It wont be going yet, I don't think anyway, I had to change my throttle cable recently, noticed I could lift the pedal up a significant distance.

You'll be able to tell if the cable is going, when your letting the car turnover in gear, is it struggling to cope (for example kangarooing) mine did this on the night it broke. I took this bird to cinema, got her home, went to hers for half n hour () when I left, started the car up, went to set off and the pedal fell to the floor, had to drive it home with shoe laces haha.

Fiat charged me 37quid I think for a new one, and it had to be ordered, they didn't have it there.

Either that or buy a new one, but I don't think it will snap yet. When you're ''floorin' it'' is the pedal touching the floor? (sounds stupid that) but do you know what I mean? becuase I can push my accelerator pedal about half way down, and I'm using all the power I have lol

Pedal is irrelevant.

Make sure there is a small amount of slack at idle and that the cable is not strained at WOT.

Butterfly doesn't need to go fully vertical to get full power.

I can push the pedal to the floor but whether that gives more power than when its above it im not sure, dont think it does.

At idle im able to lift the pedal up a little bit.

Check what the butterfly is doing, thst the important bit.
