plasti-dip chips off,
no good on wheels,
It does not chip off I did all the chrome on my old 500 and the wheels and had it on the car for a year and a half before i took it off to sell the car and it looked as good on the day I took it off as the day I painted it.
Just make sure you clean the part that you are painting and the first coat should be very light. Also at this time of year keep the cans indoors so they are warm when you paint as cold dip clogs up.

If you are not wanting to go back to standard colour then rubbing down and painting the wheels with satin black it another option and a little cheaper.
My 595 has satin painted winter wheels.
