pioneer TS-E6996 polarity?

I have pioneer TS-E6996 speakers i have fitted them but the connections on the speakers themselves do not have + or - on them. they are different sizes and the wires going into the speaker are different colours (black & black and white). Would you be able to tell me which one is positive and which one is negative!?!?

normally the speaker terminals are different sizes..yes it does sound crap if polarity is wrong.

Are these standard? i've only looked at the back ones in my punto but looking at any other speakers in the car should tell you if you already have some connected with same terminals.

Just to add you can always run tests like those cleaning CDs that include polarity check and someone mentioned an AA battery test (seeing if speaker pulls or pushes) shouldn't be necessary if they all use big positive terminal though as i think mine did for both std nokia and replacement speakers.
