I can't seem to find a decent photo of new Panda 4x4's in red or black. I'm about to order one but would love to see a decent photo before I do. If anyone has a good "side on" pic would you be so kind as to post it up for a few days to help make a decision.
The pic has to be of the "4x4"

:) Ta in advance.

Stuart

Did you try Google images? There's a few red ones on there, but only a couple of black ones... Think the skydome shows up better on the red... ;) :D

By the way when you were talking silver, what silver were you talking about?

Are you going to put your order in today then? Don't forget to ask for a locking petrol cap... It really bugged me when mine came with the non-locking variety... :bang: :bang:

See you tomorrow evening...

I did google but no proper looking pics I could use.
I'll try to remember about the cap.
I'll only be looking the silver if I get a black car. I haven't looked into which silver but it would need to be semi matt type finish.
Found a front bull bar for it though.:D

Here's a not very suitable pic of my Salsa Red 4x4 1.2 Panda in its native environment, dragging my entire house behind it. A fellow camper, leaning agin' the tailgate has been removed to preserve the serenity of the scene.

Note the roof bars, tow hook, open Skydome, and satisfyingly grubby appearance of this magnificent yet rare creature, captured in the rainforests of Hampshire....

In Google, instead of searching the web, click on Images above where you type in the keyword, then type in Panda 4x4 and search. It comes up with pictures only...

Is the bull bar black?

Doesn't the paper Panda brochure have a few pics of 4x4 in Red?
Stuart, is it just so you can make up your mind which colour you prefer? Red is nice :) Time will tell how much it fades though :(
However, my Coupe hadn't faded during its 9 year life.

There's a link to the 4Car review there too. But I disagree with some of it:

"That's probably just as well, because the Panda's only engine option in the UK is a 60bhp 1.2-litre petrol that generates just 75lb ft of twisting torque. And air-con would rob even more power. Even with a kerb weight of just 980kg, the little Panda needs a glacial 20 seconds to reach 62mph. To put that in some sort of perspective, a BMW M5 can reach 100mph twice in the same time. For the record, the Panda's top speed is 90mph and timing how long that would take probably requires a calendar. And with that higher ride height and four-wheel drive setup, the Panda 4X4 feels a good deal less agile than its regular two-wheel drive sibling."

The 0-60 times have been discussed elsewhere - it sure feels quicker. And the 4x4 feels less agile than its sibling?

NNNNNNoooooooooooooo! We have a motorway off-ramp nearby that goes into an extremely tight 180 degree hair-pin. My 180 bhp Toyota Corolla T-Sport with uprated damping and torsion bars would get round it at only 40mph without the rear drifiting out. The Panda 4x4 does it at 50, by which time all the passengers are throwing up in the back.

Aircon robs the power? Nnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooo! I don't notice any difference with it on or off. And a godsend in the current heatwave. 31C today, glad I got climate control aircon in mine...

Well I bought one.....in....b..bl..bla....blac....Erm RED. :D Seen the pics of the red one and I think it accenuates the lines better. Skydome and slidy rear seat (Thank you Wee Smurf). Should be here in about 6 weeks all being well. Until then I have to put up with/sorry have the pleasure of driving Splutter.

Excellent choice of colour (even if I must say so myself)... :D ;)

6 weeks delivery time is really good... My wait was much longer...

 That means that you should have it for the September meeting... I'm sure that Dez will be happy to have it for company... Looking forward to seeing it!

Well It still hasn't arrived and I have just been told that I won't have it until second week of September because Poland is on a skelington service over August.
Looks like it will be here just in time for the bad weather.

Thought that it was a wee bit ambitious to think that your Panda would arrive so quick... It's the skydome and slidy seat holding up the show... When I went to order mine originally, the Fiat dealer I enquired in wouldn't take my order "cause what I wanted simply wouldn't be on the production line" and they said that it would be months and proceeded to offer me the red one with the alloy wheels that they had in their showroom :(...

At least you'll be getting what you want, so it's a bit of a wait but it will be worth it in the end... Just make sure that you bring it along to the October meeting with you. :D
