Looks very similar to my "Paintbrush" effort! Thanks for trying though Arc!
how do you just select the bonnet, i drew round it and thats why its jagged. is there a tool for selecting bits of similar colour, like the bonnet?

yes there is but it will select the whole car, and bits of the background...
you use the lasso tool, but if you right click, there is the "polygonal lasso tool", use that... click on each change of direction...

no, it's a bespoke part of photoshop I made
