Technical Phone stays connected after exiting car

Not always, but quite often, when I turn off the car, leave, and lock the vehicle, my phone stays connected and continues playing whatever media was on. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a way to stop it from happening?

Ah I wasn't very clear, it's more that android auto / carplay stays connected and whatever audio player you last used keeps playing so I have to manually stop it on my phone while walking away.

You can choose any number of music players on your phone, i have 5, some are better than others.

I don't use a phone to play music, but I often get the audio playing (actually it unmutes, because there is no OFF control) when I turn off the car, especially after just a short period of being on, like reversing out of the garage. It started after an OTA update about 18 months ago. Others have also experienced the same and I don't know a cure.

Yes it's exactly this behaviour, quite annoying isn't it. Always makes me second guess if I have turned the car off or not

Report it to the developer, I assume through the workshop or online and wait for the bug to be corrected.

Temporarily power the radio through the ignition 12V (unless it can't be for some reasons). The dealership should be able to check.
